My favourite

My favourite  science experiment is the mentors  and  Pepsi experiment I like it because I like the big fizz it made.
My favourite fact of the king cobra is it can swim.  I like that fact because I like sea snakes and land snakes.
My favourite athletics event is the 100m sprint. I like this event because I like racing with my class mates.
My favourite maths strategy is adding and sutracting.I like this strategy  because it makes the math question more easy.

Science Experiment

In room8 we are doing some science experiments this is one of them.This is the orange experiment.

How high can I jump?

In room 8 we are doing athletics. Here is me running up to the high jump. When I run towards the pole I feel scared because I think I am going to bang the pole. But I make it. Then I  jump for joy. My goal is to get more closer to the bar so that I can get over it.

All Black Competition

In room8 we have entered a competition to take a photo of us being in the crowd at a rugby test match. We had our faces painted and we made flags and signs and Mac's mum got us two hot dogs and 1 cold chips. And  Baki and Aidan pretended to be the Argentinians. The rest of room 8 where All Blacks supporters.

gymsport competition

The gym sport dance group that I was in was Mrs Natusch group. Our name was called the Vardon Hip Hoppers we have been practicing for 14 to 15 weeks . These are some of the people I had in the Vardon Hip Hloppers Mac, Axell, Ashton, Alex, Christopher,Leah, Cloe, Alisya. In the gym sport festival we came 3rd. Out of 3 the 1st hip hop group  was the Fluro mob, the 2nd  was the Inspirnig hip hoppers.

Culture

I think culture means what country you came from. What language you speak and your colour of your skin and your celebrations, and  your country's food. And defferent songs that country's sing . And defferent animals.

term2 reflection

• I enjoyed being a texspert for term 2. I thought my maths was hard because we are doing bigs numbers into the 1000's.  I have acheived  my goal of writing a bit neater. My goal for term 3 is to make sure that I sound my words out properly.

move making

This is me and Baki and Axell in the museum making  are own helmet. First we made the tringle part, then we put it on Bakis head to make sure that it fits. Next we put on some horns, then it was done. Baki went up with it on the stage. The lights went dark and I got a fright. All the hats were glowing blue.

term1 reflection

My goal for term 1 is to get my writing neater by slowing down and taking more care on forming each letter.

I have improved in my maths. I am in the Decimals and I am learning digital time.

marmite is back in town

Marmite was first made in England and then New Zealand changed the recipe and started making it in our own country.

• Marmite has been around for over 100 years
• the factory was crashed by a earthquake.
• I love the taste of marmite.It taste like saoty and sweet .

me poster

With my new teacher Mrs Hood we made a poster of all about me. We wrote in our writing  book first, then we got the poster and transferred the information. One part asked "what are your three wishes. I wrote I wanted to own some  jet planes, live in a mansion and be rich.
With my research group we are learning to know how a seed grows into a plant. We found  how a plant travels. And we are sharing this informatrion to the class today.

The most fun thing about camp was the slip n slide, it was so slippery and I slid like a penguin and I splashed in a big blob of bubbles and I got a beard.
